In the spirit of the snow day here in the Philadelphia area, it is the perfect time to share one of my favorite episodes of The Office. For those who are like me and know every single episode, you will remember the Classy Christmas episode in Season 7 part 1 & 2 famous snowball fight between Jim and Dwight. If you haven’t seen this, today is the perfect time to watch. It starts off with Jim looking out the window to see that it’s snowing. Dwight is unamused and makes fun of the fact that Jim is excited about a little bit of snow. In typical Jim fashion he goes out, makes a snowball, and returns to the office slinging it right into Dwight’s face. Now, if you haven’t seen the office, I first have to ask, what is wrong with you? Second, please do yourself a favor and go watch it now! My favorite part of this show is the ongoing fights between Jim and Dwight. Although I could go on talking about how funny this show is and in particular how great this episode is, it’s nothing that will do its justice as well as watching it does. The banter between Jim and Dwight in the episode will leave you laughing and wanting to continuously binge watch the entire season…as I have found myself doing multiple times.

**SPOILER**

My favorite part about this episode is that for once, Dwight wins. Typically in the show you know that Jim is always messing with Dwight. Although that is usually the most satisfying result since Dwight’s reactions are priceless, in this case I love that Jim is the one left as the loser in this “battle”. Seeing Jim paranoid to leave the office in the end with the multiple scary snowmen waiting for his departure, was a great ending. You see Jim viciously attacking them out of pure horror, to then only see the camera pan over to the roof where Dwight has an evil look on his face watching Jim suffer.

“In the end, the greatest snowball isn’t a snowball at all…It’s fear.” Dwight concludes with an evil smirk.

Am I the only one who loves this episode?! What was your favorite part? Let me know!

  1. Me too! Honestly The Office is one of the greatest television shows in American television history. All the characters play off of one another amazingly but none better than Jim and Dwight!
